Some images from my garden

I am pleased to say that Siskin and Redpoll have visited my feeders regularly throughout the summer as well as the previous winter and spring, confirming I think breeding in the area. These shots were taken on Saturday.

Members Only reserve at the weekend

A few images from Stockbridge at the weekend , the Kingfisher was one of a pair that visited whilst I was there . The Garden Warbler put in an appearance, and I hope I'm correct in identifying the third image as a juvenile Garden Warbler.

Mixed bag from yesterday

I was stopped by the police whilst taking the top image from the roadside , in the Stainburn area , I think they were the high security lot from the early warning station, wasn't much of a problem, they were probably being nosey, although I was parked on a bend with a double white line.
The young Siskin was on my feeder, I am convinced they have bred in the locality(Riddlesden)
The Grouse was one of five, sat together on the wall top at Bradup as I drove by, this is what I would call a drive by shooting.

Dotterel

Luckily photographed this female dotterel on the beach just north of Hartlepool today. Seems early and not where expected!

Beautiful Damoselle

Had to go to the South Lake district to see these rare Beautiful Damoselles which seemed plentifull on a small stream near Barkbooth Lot nature reserve. Also in the area High brown, Dark green, Small pearl-bordered Fritillary butterflies. Hawfinch at Sizergh castle were also showing well. Large heath butterflies were flying at Meathop moss.
