Bramblings have been visiting my feeders this week, usually just one or two at a time. This morning I noted eight feeding on the ground under one of my feeders.
Sorry if Waxwings are becoming a bit of a bore, but they are good fun to photograph, and there is not a huge amount locally to photograph. These were taken yesterday at Eldwick, just off Gilstead lane. At one point there was a flock of approx. 50 Stephen
Bullfinches have reappeared in my garden , being absent during the late summer months. Greenfinches seem to be back to healthy numbers after an apparent crash last year. Resident Coal Tit keeps me on the lookout in case of visiting Marsh/Willow Tit, no look so far. Single Lesser Redpoll and a single Brambling have been visiting my feeders this week.
