These birds were seen yesterday American Wigeon Scaup & Egyptian geese.

Waxwing year ?

Thanks to Fred for giving the location of the Waxwings in Keighley today. I called up to Keighley Golf Club this afternoon, about the same number of birds that Fred saw were in evidence, feeding on Mountain Ash berries.

Silent killer.

As I was sitting in the conservatory this silent killer landed on the drystone wall outside the window then hopped into the bush where I hang our feeders, Flushed the unfortunate green finch caught it  then settled on wall with its prey. Luckily for me I had camera at hand & managed these shots before it made off.
