Swallow in the sun


So often I find my attempts at photographing Swallows dissapointing. The irridescent nature of their dark blue feathers on the back and head tend to reflect the light in bright sunshine, face parts are usually underexposed and lack features, or the white of the breast is often burnt out. Here I have been lucky with the light, none of the above being an issue.
